GTA 6 Edge 430 Cover Story Lands October 29: Rockstar Interviews Free Online, and That 2027 Delay Is Fake
GTA 6 fans have a big read coming this week. Edge magazine issue 430 goes on sale Thursday, October 29 with a 16-page Grand Theft Auto VI cover story built on a visit to Rockstar's Edinburgh headquarters, home of Rockstar North, as GamesRadar+ announced on October 27. Best of all, you won't need to buy the magazine to read it.
What's inside Edge 430
According to GamesRadar+, which shares a publisher with Edge, the issue includes:
- A 16-page cover feature on what the site calls "the most ambitious project in Rockstar's history"
- Exclusive interviews with the team at Rockstar
- Exclusive imagery, including bespoke screenshots
- A special gatefold cover with artwork of the game's two leads, Jason and Lucia
How to read it for free
The print issue hits shelves on October 29. On the same day, GamesRadar+ will publish the full feature online for free, with a link going up on release day. UK readers who subscribe can also get a free collector's edition while stocks last. Outside the UK, new annual subscribers get a free digital copy of the whole GTA 6 issue.
Why October 29 matters
The magazine date lines up with a pattern fans have been tracking. GameRant points out that Rockstar has revealed something new almost every Thursday since the Extended Look on August 27. That run has included the DualSense controllers, the album, the age rating and the radio station preview. GameRant expects Thursday, October 29 to be the next official update. That's the outlet's own read of the pattern, though, and Rockstar hasn't announced anything for that day. The Edge feature is the only confirmed GTA 6 drop on the calendar for now.
No, GTA 6 isn't delayed to 2027
A screenshot made to look like an official Rockstar post went viral this week, claiming GTA 6 had slipped to March 2027. USA Today's For The Win checked it on October 27 and says plainly that it's fake. Nothing suggests the date has changed.
The official date still stands. Per the Rockstar Newswire, Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has kept pushing that date in public, too. It was on the pitchside LED boards at El Clásico this weekend (our report). If a "delay" image doesn't come from Rockstar's own channels, treat it as fake.
The soundtrack is charting too
The music is making news as well. Consequence reports that "Flower in a Hurricane," the Justice track featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, has given King Gizzard their first-ever Billboard Hot 100 entry, debuting at No. 62. The song first arrived with the official launch trailer (our coverage).
